Megan has been in the food and beverage industry for over 20 years and like all good stories, hers has taken many turns. From event planning in Jackson, Wyoming (Ask me about the time Harrison Ford’s dog crashed a wedding!) to yacht provision in BDT, Panama, the journey has been anything but boring, However, after many years of living abroad she is happy to have landed back in her hometown of Asheville and it’s thriving food community.
Over the years Megan has worn many hats but surprisingly none of them in the Heart of the House. “The kitchen is my happy place. I love the way food brings people together and meals make that connection happen.”
She may not take her love of cooking directly into the workplace, but she does let her love of hospitality shine. “Nothing feels better than a perfectly executed service, where guests and the team leave happy”.
When not at work you will fine Megan enjoying the outdoors, searching for the perfect dive bar, or curled up someplace with a good book.
